We are building pathways that connect education, biotechnology, agriculture, environmental science, technology, and entrepreneurship to real opportunities for underserved youth and veterans throughout.

Your support turns resources into opportunity. Donations help Sankofa Life Sciences Academy provide safe, hands-on science education, workforce preparation, community gardens and greenhouses, environmental restoration, and accessible learning opportunities for youth and veterans.

Sankofa Life Sciences Academy welcomes approved donations of laboratory, agricultural, environmental, renewable-energy, and community-building equipment. Your contribution can put professional tools directly into the hands of students, veterans, educators, and community partners.
HOW TO DONATE EQUIPMENT
Before shipping or delivering equipment, please email photos, manufacturer/model, age, condition, quantity, dimensions/weight, accessories, and any available service or safety information to sankofalifescienceacademy@gmail.com.
Approved equipment may be delivered by appointment only after written acceptance to:

What Equipment We Accept
LABORATORY & BIOTECHNOLOGY
Microscopes, pipettes, centrifuges, incubators, balances, electrophoresis equipment, laboratory glassware, testing equipment, refrigerators/freezers, PPE, and other approved research tools.
GARDENS & GREENHOUSES
Greenhouse equipment, raised garden beds, irrigation systems, hydroponics and aquaponics equipment, gardening tools, composting equipment, seedlings, fruit trees, soil and approved agricultural supplies.
WATER & ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS
Greywater systems, rainwater capture tanks, filtration equipment, irrigation pumps, water-quality testing equipment, soil and moisture sensors, leak detection systems, environmental monitoring tools, and approved water-conservation equipment.
SOLAR & RENEWABLE ENERGY
Solar panels, batteries, inverters, solar lighting, greenhouse ventilation systems, renewable-energy monitoring equipment, charging systems, educational solar kits, weather stations, and approved small-wind energy equipment.
IMPORTANT: Please do not leave equipment, chemicals, or supplies unattended. Large, sensitive, or potentially hazardous items require advance approval and coordinated delivery.
SAFETY, ACCESSIBILITY & COMMUNITY SPACES
PPE, secure storage, ADA-accessible pathways, ramps, seating, shade structures, lighting, outdoor classroom equipment, community gathering materials, accessibility equipment, safety signage, and approved recreation equipment.
GARBAGE-TO-GARDEN & SITE RESTORATION
Cleanup tools, waste and recycling equipment, composting systems, raised-bed materials, lumber, fencing, wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, gardening gloves, soil-testing equipment, native plants, trees, pollinator habitat materials, and approved site-restoration supplies.
HYDROPONICS, AQUAPONICS & AQUATIC SCIENCE
Hydroponic growing systems, aquaponic equipment, tanks, pumps, filtration systems, grow lights, water-testing equipment, algae and marine-science equipment, sensors, aeration equipment, and approved educational aquatic systems.
TECHNOLOGY, AI & STEM EDUCATION
Computers, laptops, tablets, monitors, coding and robotics equipment, cameras, microscopes with digital imaging, data loggers, environmental sensors, educational software licenses, networking equipment, projectors, and approved STEM-learning technology.
TOOLS, CONSTRUCTION & FACILITY EQUIPMENT
Lumber, hand tools, power tools, workbenches, storage cabinets, carts, shelving, ladders, greenhouse construction materials, irrigation supplies, landscaping equipment, repair equipment, and approved building materials.
DELIVERY & ACCEPTANCE
All donated equipment must be reviewed and approved before delivery. Please do not ship or drop off equipment without written acceptance. Large, sensitive, chemical, electrical, or potentially hazardous donations require advance coordination.
